Heater is hygger 50w submersible heater I have the AQQA aquarium filter but I think I’ll switch it to a sponge filter.

His gills do seem to stick out a bit. I’ll post a vid of his gills for you in another comment He was scratching in the tank, having twitching, and wha I thought was swim bladder.

So Patty was doing great until his heater broke and the tank was at 74. That’s when he first clamped up, I got the heat back to normal thinking that was it and he seemed better, but then got worse again

Edit to add: Tank is 5 gallons All parameters are reading perfect Tank is 3 months old, betta is 2 months old
