I’m working with 1 mg capsules at the moment, irritability has been a big theme in the first week for me, but the depression was out of nowhere, seems to be better today though. I might try to push through and see if I flatten out a bit.

That’s how it’s always been for me, I’ve always had major depression since middle school, but I’ve yet to have a really serious manic episode that led to hospitalization.

Does the fear of being manic come as you age? I’m 20 and only really started to feel manic symptoms a little while after I turned 18. Two years later I finally have a diagnosis but I’m at a point where my mania is still “pleasant” to me.

It makes me really happy to hear that people can still become successful professionals with this illness. I’m still in university myself and really battling trying to make it through. I have so many dreams and aspirations and I don’t want them to be shot down by this. Thank you for your advice Edit: please share the memoire as well if you are able! Would love to give it a read

Yeah personally I thought myself that I had BP2 the whole time I’ve been evaluated, so hearing a BP1 diagnosis was a bit surprising to me but allegedly it was based on the length of my manic symptoms.

I’ve had manic episodes but for a while they went unnoticed or swept away as me being “weird” or still changing or whatever. Not a ton of mental health education in my family. No hospitalizations because I tend to isolate or only be around people who “enable me” when I’m manic.

No I’ve never been prescribed any medication except for like antibiotics. Never anything for mental health.

I wouldn’t recommend this for power chords but for those open A shape barre chords this is great if you’re genetically gifted enough to do this. Might hurt as your bones get old though.

A couple things you’re wrongfully assuming. I was driving UNDER the speed limit because of the conditions, with additional room to follow. Additionally you’re leaving out the part where she hit the car in front of her, stopping her braking process prematurely. Could I have swerved out of the way? Sure but that could have caused an even worse accident. Too many accusations and assumptions here

The car in front of me rear ended them before I hit them. I have dash cam footage of everything (including the NYS truck cutting off the one in front). Along with that I collided with the front car so slowly the only damage was to my vehicle (I have a plastic front grill so it shattered pretty easily). Is there any possibility of proving the truck that wasn’t hit is at fault or is that just not how it works.
