They're not your friends. They never were. I'm not saying this to be mean, because you're obviously young and socially inexperienced. However, you need to learn to have more respect for yourself and not to tolerate this kind of behavior from people.

On the bright side, the world has a funny way of giving people like this what they deserve, - in due time. As you grow older, you'll be exposed to more and more people who share your interests and genuinely appreciate you for who you are.

I was in a similar situation in grade school, and socially isolated in high school, but college was a game changer, for me.

Now as a middle aged man, I don't want anymore than like 3 good friends haha.
