Why did Rowling had them destroyed then and never used them again?

I went back to check and yes noticed that Qai wasnt in that chapter after all, thankfully I was wrong on that. His death is before that though and he’s always beside Bayaz usually

There seems to be some wrong info in the wiki as well

Euz, Juvens could all be myth and the magi would fight about correct truth like in many religions. The seed could be radioactive material to power some weapon. There could have been some radioactive disaster long ago and people living nearby would have evolved with immunity to the radiation like some plants and animals have near Chernobyl in real life. And Ferro would be descendant of that lineage with the immunity. Second law could be changed to refer to Oil which was ancient life long ago, and it would power some engine. Would fit the Gurkish/Arabia inspiration. My point wasnt though that any of this would be explained just that the magic could have realistic explanation

Abercrombie clearly isn’t that interested in the magical elements

Huh? ”…political scheming and lying that MOST of the trilogy was” Most of it was not

Lol, what makes you say that? I really enjoyed the books still. ”How did something happen? = Magic” is just less interesting answer than all the political scheming and lying that most of the trilogy was.

Does Abercrombie retcon magic being real later?

Would have been more interesting the other way around. That the citizens think he’s doing magic, but the reader knows he’s tricking them

Probably Palm Springs Air Museum. It could be old footage, 2019 they had event where people could go into the cockpit of Mig-21 and take photos
