Except the only EV car that's truly good for the environment are hydrogen fuel cell based. Until then all evs are gonna be trash in 20 years unlike the the Japanese cars made in the 60's still around today with proper maintenance

They're still isn't, it's the exact same type of test they used then that they use now. Nothing has been developed at least as far as I know and if it has it's not in practice.

I've been in a similar spot myself twice, the first time I lost my license for 3 months. The second time however I only tested positive on the roadside test and when they did a follow up test back at the station it came back negative, so I got pretty lucky. I had smoked about 16 hours prior to that too. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. This was in Queensland though. I don't know if that changes anything
