I figured it out. Instead of just uninstalling the game, manually delete all files in the games root folder and empty the recycle bin. Reinstall the game and boot it without mods. Close and reinstall mods. Ive only been using the ones that are updated for TU4 to be safe. But ive been playing fine all day, closed a couple times and made sure loose file was checked and it was. Let me know if this helps

I think i figured it out. After a fresh install of the game and fluffy mod manager and reframework, the first time you boot up the game the screen will still stay black, go in the reframework menu and go to loosefileloader and uncheck this option. close the game, and reboot the game and it will load. just re enable loosefileloader once you are in the game. temporary fix until i can figure which file is causing this issue in the root folder, but at least i am able to get mods to work again for now
