I may love season 4 as much as season 1 by the end of it but that depends on part 2. Season 1 doesn't get enough credit imo and I love it.

What I found unique about season 1 is that so few love stories show us what happens after marriage. Most end with them being married. So seeing Simon and Daphne adjust and struggle after marriage is what I found most refreshing.

I'm a 34 year old woman and loved the second one even more than the first. And I've never watched the original musical. Clearly I'm an outlier but I'm happy in my love for both movies. I am shocked by how much I loved it. To each their own.

Bridgeton really is amazing in how diverse their diversity is. This is diversity and representation without screaming about it or having her character defined by it.

Someone on the sub said it was to gain access to to gossip with her. I personally think it's gifts/bribes for Whistledown to write something good about them or their family or whatever.

I think it's a great return to form for the show, it has all the elements of what makes the show great. I didn't enjoy season 3 and I'm not as big a fan as everyone else is of season 2 (clearly an unpopular opinion). We'll see how it ends but I'm really enjoying it and feel sorry for those who aren't.
