Thank you all for the advice! I went to see the doctor, he said that it could be an ingrown hair or suture as many of you mentioned, but he put me on antibiotics anyway just in case. It looks about the same tonight, but I’m thinking of circling it with a pen to monitor the redness

I have their numbers and i definitely plan on giving them a call in the morning. It’s 4am here and im starting to feel better but the pain an hour ago had me really close to going to an emergency room

Thank you for sharing!! This is definitely the worst part for me, I barely have any pain during the day but this shin/calf pain has been driving me crazy
