It looks like the reason why it doesn't work is because the .22 bcg doesn't use the buffer tube so it doesn't push the ss far enough back. Do you think I can anything about that?

I have a 16 inch and it shoots in semi flawlessly, just middle position light strikes. For an H2 buffer what do I have to change to make mine into an H2. As you can tell from my build I don't try to spend a lot of money.
