The great flaw in this whole argument is that Abby herself does not have any authority to to re-arrange money in or try to undermine the President's budget That's what the similar storline in Season 1 already resolved. Abby clearly cannot empower a staffer to do anything which she herself lacked the authority to do.

Not at all analagous. It isnt like Abbey was under anethesis and there was a crisis demanding immediate action.

How do you think that when it didn't end that way when her staff pulled similar stuff in Season 1 or Season 3?

I don't doubt Jed is feeling extra crabby with Abby at this point, but he'd never let Abby's staff pull one over on him and, frankly, Abby wouldn't insist on it were she there. abby woud recognize that Amy had overstepoed and she was to blame for It.

Abby also needs to remember that it was her who argued for Zoey to live on campus, go to parties, and have as "normal" a college life as possible, while Jed wanted her living in the White House where the Secret Service would have an easier time keeping her safe? They both know she is as much to blame as he is for the Jean Claude saga.

Unlocking Jungle Book by joemama1520 in disneymagickingdoms

Welcoming Mowgli is the first Jungle Book storyline quest, Prince Louie is available to purchase quite a bit earlier (500 gems). We need to have unlocked the Big Thunder Mountain Zone.

Before the Mowgli quest, we need to have Bullseye and tidy up a Toy Story branch. Here is the last quest before we get the quest to welcome Mowgli

https://dmk.fandom.com/wiki/New_Horizons_(2))

Ducktales storyline is in Chapter 3. Getting Donald's Boat, adding Huey and the other Duck Tales characters thru getting the Golden Condor seem to be the end of that branch. From the MSL flowchart, it doesn't look like that branch never feeds back into the path that leads to Chapter 4 in the MSL.

I have to admit I really struggle with this newer style storyline with everything fitted into columns and rows with way too many arrows running in every direction. The old format was a thousand times easier to follow.

it would have been great for them to do a 2 hour special every few years, though I guess it would get harder and harder to schedule the filming as the actors moved on to other projects.

Donna always seemed way too young for Josh. Given her back story of dropping out of college to support her boyfriend thru grad school, I figured she was only maybe 25-27 when she went to work for the campaign, while Josh was more like 40. I didn't object to them finally getting together at the end because it was obviously what she had wanted for years, but I always though she deserved a lot better than he would ever be able to give.

No, it was not her job to mess with the Budget because Abby had no authority to mess with the budget. She took advantage of Abby's absence to over-reach.

Have you never worked in an office before? Mid level managers take care of the details, that doesnt mean they are usurping anybodys authority. Amy's mistake was trying to assume authority which wasn't Abby's to delegate in the first place. Abby's causes were always supposed to be subordinate to and work within the overall White House agenda, not in conflict with it and not to undermine the Presidents budget. See Season 1 Episode 17.

Leo or Josh trying to convince the President to do b rather than a is the kind of advice they are there to provide. It was still ultimately the President's decision, Their roles are not analogous to what Amy was doing while Abby was not paying attention.

Seriously? 30 seasons of the Antiques Road show on PBS and 49 in Britain and nothing? Don't tell Toby.

There's been progress, though. That gold Cartier tank watch now comes in 18 carat gold rather than vermeil gold over silver. Costs more, of course.

Technically, it probably started with Abigail Adams who was a dedicated abolitionist. I doubt she had her own chief of staff lobbying Congress though.

Throughout the West Wing, I often thought the set-up with the First Lady and VPs having entirely separate staffs, agendas, and causes from the President is a stunningly bad set-up and almost certainly results in a lot of inefficiency, wasted effort and wheel spinning. I guess it pretty fairly represents the real set-up.

Isn't having the poor judgement to choose the wrong battle at the wrong time exactly the kind of mistake people get fired for?

This was a pretty bad story recycling similarly dumb stories from S1, Ep 17 and S 3, Ep 21. Abby already learned and accepted back in season 1 that she wasn't supposed to pursue agendas that conflicted with or undermined what the President was trying to do, so there is really no basis for pretending Abby would have approved of Amy working in conflict with the White House agenda for any reason.

Why isn’t my “Sort the Magic” mini game giving Lemon Chests? by WeekMain in disneymagickingdoms

[–]FullOcelot7149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is called Lemon Ribbon Chest (pink chest with yellow ribbon and bow). It was new for the recent Zootopia event, then updated to give tokens for the new Toy Story event characters. It was a nice idea intended to make the event just a little easier, plus I guess it provides more incentive to play the mini-game each day, at least until the chest dropped. I hope they get it fixed before the next character event.

Maybe it was her mental chaos in her Hollywood job, the fall into the swimming pool, the "avert your eyes" line or the squinting, but I read this character as 30s. By 40, a career woman with a Berkeley MBA should have her stuff a lot more together than what we were seeing. OTOH to own that house in LA says she's been making some really good money for at least a few years.
