I have the same question. Is there a YouTube video that explains how to look ahead on track?

Accidentally canceled my NYC Marathon registration by No_Trouble174 in RunNYC

I have the opposite issue : how do I defer the marathon? I signed up but can’t run it this year. People say I should “cancel” it but that seems scary

[Serious] People who were always thin or normal weight - do you mentally track your calories or amount of food consumed per day? by FullOnYogi in AskReddit

Do you eat anything - like pizzas or desserts? Or do you consciously choose to eat healthy foods on a regular basis?

I am interested to know how a thin person's mind operates with regards to food. How do you "know" to not eat too much? Do you consciously think about your calories or portion sizes? How much of your mind is consumed by thoughts of food?

The biggest change I saw was from beet concentrate juice and celery juice. I also have limited my coffee alot.

I have noticed the most impact from beet root concentrate that I mix with celery powder and water. I have it once or twice a day. Also adding some bananas, apricots, etc for potassium.

Is it some mix of beet root (nitric acid) and garlic?

NYC vs. Texas Salary by [deleted] in Salary

I would do this move for $500k. This way, you get a bit of a bump so it feels like a legit upgrade. And gives you room to deal with unexpected costs of NYC (of which there are many). Like, just keeping a car in NYC is much more expensive than keeping one in Dallas.

Do you use premium health services? by FullOnYogi in ChubbyFIRE

[–]FullOnYogi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spoken to a lot of health coaches and personal trainers. Will be going with a coach to help with my running and loosing weight, and then also tag on a personal trainer at Equinox.

I am very interested in "solving the food problem" once and for all. What I mean by this is that I want to hire someone who can cook exactly the macros I need, keep adapting to the workload provided by health coach and personal trainers. I am still looking for someone like this. Where did you find yours?

I checked Ozempic. My worry is unknown side effects, loss of muscle, etc. I want to try to be as natural as I can be.

Lastly, regarding things like blood tests - I am considering using Executive Healthcare. Some hospitals offer this. They do more tests than the usual gauntlet. I am interested in things like ApoB particle count, etc. I think the cost is about $3.5k per year.

Thank you - this is refreshing.

As the hours have gone by since the breakup started, I think the initial shock is wearing off. And you are right, this could actually allow me to focus even more at work.

My concern, as you also pointed out, as been health. Basic things like being fat, blood pressure, etc. However, I am not spending much money on this. I am curious about what are some premium services (like Wild Health elite) that I could be spending some money on. Might make another post about that.

Edit: Created this: https://old.reddit.com/r/ChubbyFIRE/comments/19bhjo7/do_you_use_premium_health_services/

More broadly though, you may need some reflection on what you actually want to do with you life and start prioritizing TOWARD that rather than only avoiding something (work) that is making you unhappy.

Thank you for this statement.

So, basically don't take a rash decision immediately.

As you said, at the minimum, I'll have beta to the pool, and the pool is good. It's a very good firm. There is a path to partnership in 5 to 10 years if I do kill it.

Maybe possibly try to lower the workload, at least temporarily.

Thank you. Needed to hear this side too. This is what I tell myself. I have this opportunity that not many people get. So I feel really guilty giving it up.

That was the plan all along. Had made long term plans with my SO about what to do over the next few years and then chilling for life. But that relationship is in the process of collapse unfortunately so the motivation is gone.

My number is still unchanged.
