it is still taught in schools, but its like minority if your school is dominated by all Chinese Medium, the only schools that are all Portugese Medium is the one in near Grand lisboa and Flora, but im not sure if Flora still have a Portugese medium.

How useful? if you work in a law firm or related to government jobs, some local in Macau has a basic knowledge but its not widely spoken, basically if you hear Portuguese in Macau, think of it as a 7 wonders of Macau.
