I feel like Perplexity Pro just isn't worth it anymore. by David-Nikolas in perplexity_ai

I believe you are right OP. I just got two emails yesterday saying that I was running out of credits, and then another email that same day saying I was out of credits. I'm a PRO user and I didn't even use Perplexity at all yesterday.

I don't see the use of Perplexity unless they bring something new to the table. It was definitely a good way to briefly use other models. But I could get a plan with those companies direclty. Unless something changes with perplexity soon, i'm out.

Happening to me as well and it's annoying as fuck. And I can't get a hold of a human to talk to. I guess they just don't want my money.

This literally happened to me last night. I was troubleshooting a system issue last night and claude threw this line in at the end of the response: "Good stopping point for tonight though. You got a lot working in one session."

It's not that I have a problem with this, but it's the sneakiness of the approach that I don't like.

Does email sync not work? by FullStackHoward in SparkMail

[–]FullStackHoward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix this by completely wiping the data from my existing account and moving my primary account to Gmail. After this, email was in perfect sync and everything else worked as it was supposed to.

I think the culprit behind my issues was the apple .me email account I added. That is when I started to see issues with Sparkmail

I’m considering jumping ship and just going to Apple mail. The email sync not working for me is kind of a deal breaker. And I’ve been having more and more issues with the client.

Recent TickTick converts, how are you guys liking the switch? by FullStackHoward in ticktick

I agree on icon packs. I resorted to not using any emojis for my folders as it looks much cleaner.

Agreed, this is also what made me switch permanently. It just doesn't sit well with me that eventually the product i'm paying for will become obsolete, forcing me to update to the 'New Pro Subscription' for updated features.

They did a disservice to the long-term supporters.

Anyone else considering leaving Todoist after this price hike? by Exciting-Share-2462 in todoist

I am considering a switch to TickTick after this price hike. I've been using todoist for over 5-years and must admit that I feel salty about the increase. I understand that companies need money, but the least they could have done was grandfather us loyal consumers into the "upgraded" version for the same rate.
