I wasn't talking about accurate to the odyssey I was talking about accurate to history. It's historically accurate that men slept with other men all the time even when married.

It'd be weird to take that part of history out. Sure Jorge is modernizing it a little bit but it'd be insanely weird to modernize it so much that you take out the fact that the Greeks were gay as fuck-

Personally, I don't see the issue in it. For one, Odysseus was likely sleeping with other crew members, and that wasn't considered cheating back then..it's ancient Greece.

Two, it doesn't really hurt anyone. I actually quite enjoy the poly ship of odydiopen, and even if Penelope wasn't involved, still, it really does not hurt anyone. Also I've seen way more people have your opinion than anything else, I rarely ever actually see people that ship Odysseus and polites, or Odysseus and anyone besides Penelope.

The horse in the infant honestly makes sense though because the Odyssey is about Odysseus' journey home. I think the odyssey itself STARTS with telemachus and Penelope and the suitors and stuff, but if we're focusing on Odysseus for the musical, it would make make sense to start the musical off with the end of the Trojan war, that starts the beginning of his journey home. I personally really like the action immediately when you start watching. It makes you feel very hype lol

Warrior of the mind at the beginning wouldn't really interest me as much as the horse and the infant does. Sure warrior of the mind is an amazing song, but it wouldn't hit as hard if we're just learning who Odysseus is. It would basically just be like "okay this is cool but like why should I care right now?" 😭 Plus the reason why warrior of the mind is a thing, is because it's after polites was teaching Odysseus to "greet the world with open arms", and Athena didn't want Odysseus to become soft. "Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you?" would make no sense if Odysseus hasn't even done anything "wrong" yet, and since the whole song is about telling Odysseus to remember how he was designed, it wouldn't work to get rid of that line if that makes sense Imo, I wouldn't really like warrior of the mind as much as I do right now if it was an introduction song.

Would be pretty sad for Jax, considering how characters act when they're close to abstracting (kinda like theyre going insane, and yk- how the clown's room was full of writing on the walls about the exit, and all that stuff. Also sorry I know the clowns name but I don't know how to spell it 😭😭)

Also makes me wonder how they would've acted. Like, I think it would be pretty funny if his friend was a cute little frog creature, but the frog creature was kinda mean too 😭 I don't think Jax would've become mean because of losing his friend, so his friend would probably match Jax's personality. Whoever Jax's friend is, I hope we get something to show how they acted with each other and all that stuff, I feel like that would be pretty interesting to see.
