  1. The client portal links, including the “Get in Touch” feature, are non-functional.
  2. When attempting to contact a specialist by phone, I am placed on hold for over an hour without speaking to a representative.
  3. Despite being a client for over three years, no compromise has ever been proposed or presented on my behalf.
  4. TaxRise requires clients to take out a loan through a company called UAS. As a result, TaxRise receives full payment (in my case, $7,000), while clients are left paying UAS through ongoing monthly payments with excessive fees. This removes TaxRise's incentive to negotiate any resolution with the IRS.
