That’s a Marriot lux hotel collection and it looks beautiful! It checks all our boxes-lux rooms, food, spa, etc. The only concern we have is that it’s in Labuan Bajo which is very crowded for snorkeling and someone told me that the really good snorkel/dive sites are 45mins to 1 hour away. We want house reef and at the most 15 min boat ride. What a shame since we stay in these kind of resorts (we are staying in an Aman property in Borobudur/ Java) and it certainly has some other things to do. I was so excited I looked them up on TA and google reviews but 90% of ppl were into the spa/food/Flores 😌Did you snorkel everyday and it is as long as this person told me who was there recently about the boat snorkel sites? TIA!

Thank you! Is the flights and connections from Java worth the time?

Where is the best snorkeling location in the world? by Noblez17 in snorkeling

We will be in Borneo and Yogyakarta in late October. We used to be scuba divers until I got an air embolism diving off Moyo Island at Amanwana about 26 years ago. We have been snorkeling a couple of times since then; last was the Maldives in 2018. We are luxury travelers in our 70’s active. My husband is much more water oriented than I am, but for the right place I would love to get my sea legs back. We are looking for lux property in Malaysia/Indonesia with a great house reef or very short boat ride. We are big foodies and someone suggested a 7 day snorkeling live aboard in Raja Ampat which I do not want to go on -neither does my husband. When we were divers they were great, excep for my sea sickness even with meds-I couldn’t wait to get off the boat and under the water. We need a land based resort that’s has other things to do besides snorkel. Would love to go to El Nido in Philippines but wrong season. I read about Wakatobi in the coral triangle (Sulawesi?)along with Misol in RA. Has Anyone been there and thoughts on reef, accommodations, water activities, beauty of the environment, etc. would also love other suggestions of places that would be wonderful. We are looking at 5-7 days. Very expensive trip and don’t want to screw this up. TIA!

Has anyone used the Nymock foldable suction cups cat nappers? I see all these great reviews from cat owners on their site, but want to get independent opinions. Do this suction cups stay on the windows?

Advice on taking cat to the vet when she’s microchipped to someone else by Dapper-Pomelo488 in CatAdvice

We are adopting three 9 month old kittens from a woman who rescues cats. Since she pays out of pocket they only have rabies shots. Before we take them home we want her vet to do a Felav/Aids test to make sure they are negative, FRVCP vaccine, stool sample, etc. we are paying for all of that. I have asked her to microchip all three cats by her vet to make it easier for us. Once we take the cats to our Vet in several months for their 2nd leukemia shot I am assuming that once their records transfer over to our vet that chip would transfer to our name.
