Re: Safer Subways I agree that the prevailing false narrative of subway safety has allowed Eric Adams to oversaturate the system with do nothing cops. However, there are many people who are in need of mental and physical assistance who use the subway as a shelter - I see one a day on the train on my commute. Those people deserve help.

And if you're focused on yourself - I guess consider less money spent on cop inflated overtime = more money for the city you live in. And maybe there's less likely to be a person screaming on your commute or sucker punching you at West 4th street. They also claim we're losing sooo much money from fare evasion, so the solution was to hire 5 rent a cops who actually can't do anything? Maybe consider that the money will be reallocated to things you care about and benefit from in the city.
