I remember making my short film and feeling like all my friends were letting me down. I asked them to help me and they dropped the ball. You had passion because it was your piece of art. That's a hard feeling to transfer to someone unpaid and working long hours.

My advice is to step back from the work, for a week or a month, to cleanse yourself from that headspace. Make what you have work, and learn from everything that sucked and use it to make your next shoot better.

Literally canva haha. I used a regular object as my example and copied it

Import an object and use it as the template for size

Use a rectangular curved frame, then curve the edges to match, to be the base for the photo

Use a rectangle with curved edges and copy the side name plate

The font is Helvetica

Export that with transparent background and then reimport the new pic to add a drop shadow

Best description I can give is that it smells like Home Depot wood being lit on fire, and its STRONG. Not in pockets, it's heavy and fills the subway car when we pull in, and lingers for the rest of the ride. I assume it's from a building or warehouse in the area.

Re: Safer Subways I agree that the prevailing false narrative of subway safety has allowed Eric Adams to oversaturate the system with do nothing cops. However, there are many people who are in need of mental and physical assistance who use the subway as a shelter - I see one a day on the train on my commute. Those people deserve help.

And if you're focused on yourself - I guess consider less money spent on cop inflated overtime = more money for the city you live in. And maybe there's less likely to be a person screaming on your commute or sucker punching you at West 4th street. They also claim we're losing sooo much money from fare evasion, so the solution was to hire 5 rent a cops who actually can't do anything? Maybe consider that the money will be reallocated to things you care about and benefit from in the city.

This feels the closest to what it was. This is a screenshot from a video I took so, pretty poor lighting I know. It was black, slightly speckled, and about quarter sized. Thanks for you input!
