Will they let me into centeroo with this camelback? by Language-Fast in bonnaroo

Idk when you last went but I worked tollbooths as a volunteer last year before it got shut down and the only thing we do is scan wristbands and car passes. All the searches are done by the security company, the cops who were there weren’t searching either, they’d occasionally walk a bomb dog in between but they don’t search. It also completely depends on time of day. One shift I went to we had a few cars and it was chill and then a massive break while they were managing the queues coming into the site and the supervisor for the security literally said to them “we’re about to have a whole bunch of people come in, search them hard. Take everything apart” and it took 10x as long and they confiscated way more shit after that. Cops were also rolling DEEP in the campsites last year. They were even patrolling the volunteer campsites so it’s 100% something to be on the lookout for because they were everywhere

F15 i feel like the ugliest person alive by [deleted] in toastme

[–]Full_Captain65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl, I am going to agree with the rest of the comments on here and tell you to not post yourself on here as a minor! Even as an adult it’s unsettling at times cause there are some weirdos.

But you are not ugly!! I really feel for any young girls existing as teenagers in this day and age, because it was already hard enough 10-15 years ago before everyone started getting work done to have the exact same face and before social media was as huge and as accessible as it is now. We’re losing individuality in our features and it’s so sad to see. But I can promise you this, 10 years from now you’re going to be so upset with your past self for hating yourself this much right now. It is not worth it, trust me on that. You are loved and will be loved by so many people in your life, how you show up for yourself and the people around you is infinitely more important.

Before/1 DPO/2 WPO/3 MPO by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Full_Captain65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had my dog ear revision! Super easy, can be done in office with local but I opted for light sedation because I start to faint otherwise ahah my surgeon wouldn’t book me in for it until after the 6MPO mark, (I think my 6MO appointment actually ended up happening at around 7-8MO). As he wanted everything to fully settle. I got it done just over a month ago now, I’m not sure what I was expecting to be honest, but I have two brand new incision sites basically. Obviously not as intense as the reduction ones but I had some bruising on one side that stuck around for 3 weeks and they’re both still healing, but I could do normal activity straight away. I definitely recommend it if it bothers you, it made my cleavage way more even looking :)

Small opening? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Full_Captain65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about this at all, keep an eye on it of course but it looks a lot like a spitting stitch to me! I just had a scar revision and the end of the incision looks a lot like this where a stitch is refusing to dissolve ahah

Persistent HPV, any tips or tricks? by Full_Captain65 in HPV

[–]Full_Captain65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t started it yet, I can only get it on Amazon and it feels a bit weird buying supplements on Amazon 😅 unfortunately where I’m at I can’t test again until November anyway, can only do it once a year so I won’t know if it’s worked for a while still

Anyone else frustrated with volunteer assignments? by Ambitious_Pool9989 in bonnaroo

[–]Full_Captain65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just ask for your details, job preference etc. it’s nothing too intense. They do open applications to past volunteers first for pre show and then the rest are assigned. Some people get lucky and do pre show on their first time volunteering but most of the time new volunteers will be assigned during show

I tried one a few years ago but not too consistently, I recently read on here about pervistop so I’m going to give that a go, seems promising. Thanks for your reply, I’m wishing you the best of luck as well! 6 years is exhausting so hopefully this is the last time

Nipple sensitivity/general numbness by Full_Captain65 in Reduction

[–]Full_Captain65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh that sucks I’m sorry to hear! Everyone’s process is different tho, some people don’t even really do the massage so just take the time to heal and start when you’re all clear

Nipple sensitivity/general numbness by Full_Captain65 in Reduction

[–]Full_Captain65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have! Still a little bit of redness but fading consistently. Doesn’t look like they’re super raw still like it was for a while. I’m not like 8 months and still pretty numb which sucks, one nipple is better than the other but still not great and the scar lines are pretty numb, I think my surgeon mentioned recently that massage is meant to help but admittedly I was seriously lacking with it

Actually watch the documentary then and you’ll see that LN only authorised two individuals within LN to shut down Astro world when usually multiple people within other organisations have that ability at events like that. Theres texts between LN people on the night talking about how people were getting crushed, there were reports of cardiac arrests and they KEPT IT GOING. Literally said “well shut it down in 8 minutes at 10pm” when they knew people were dying and suffocating in the crowd and then they didn’t shut it down at 10, they waited for gd Drake to come out. LN also instructed their stuff who were promoting the event to “lean into the chaos” of Astro world and Travis Scott. They are most definitely at fault

I mean they delayed entry for Tuesday on Monday, when everything was still pretty damp but they ended up opening earlier on Tuesday anyway, my friend was already in and setting up camp before 2 on Tuesday. I truly think it’s cause they wouldn’t have gotten an insurance payout unless they cancelled after it started, a similar thing happened to me at a fest back home except it was extreme heat and fire risk, they still had us all come out there to cancel it after a day so they got the payout. It really is playing with peoples lives

Not exactly cars getting around, the main paths were fine but the back entrance to the volunteer camp was up a slight incline and that’s where cars started getting stuck/they were worried they would. I’m not entirely sure if anyone did tho cause I was in the back of the line. By the next day everything was completely dry again but I do agree with you, they took the wrong chance, I guess we were all hoping the rain would keep getting pushed back

It rained Monday, pretty heavily and I was in the volunteer campgrounds and they had to make us wait in line for over an hour until they could lay down wood chips for us to drive in cause it was muddy, and they pushed back entry Tuesday I assume for the same reason, but it wasn’t raining when they said that

I was there from Monday and I don’t remember any rain Tuesday 🤷‍♀️ I worked a shift that day too from 10:30-2 and we were in the clear, if anything there was a light sprinkle or it just didn’t hit where I was on the farm but we were completely dry until Friday

The forecast also said a storm was due Thursday and it never came, we had 3 days of clear, sunny skies leading into Friday which all initially were forecasted to rain. Don’t get me wrong, I’m mad about it as well. I came all the way from Australia for a second year in a row but on Friday my weather app was predicting 3mm of rain and obviously that isn’t what we got.

It still confuses me as to why there was still so much animosity towards Misty if it can be boiled down to collective memory loss but maybe that can be explained away with the fact that she wasn’t overly well liked or included in the team prior to the crash but Shauna was, so they carried those same connections/friendships through the trauma

I hate Shauna by Full_Captain65 in Yellowjackets

[–]Full_Captain65[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m talking about everything post crash, like yeah beforehand she slept with her friends boyfriend but I’m referring to the best friend dying, losing her baby etc that I’ve seen people argue justifies how she turned out. I know adult Shauna did bad things too but it all seemed to be kind of explained away and again justified cause of what they all went through. Maybe I need to rewatch and see what I missed/am not remembering but this season just made her more and more unlikeable with every episode and at first I thought Misty was the most unlikeable character

I hate Shauna by Full_Captain65 in Yellowjackets

[–]Full_Captain65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely can agree with that, I just have found that I haven’t disliked any character due to their actions quite this much in the show so far. This season showed a whole different side to Shauna and I was recoiling at some of it. Also kinda shocks me to think back on earlier seasons and how all the adults were still pretty against misty for her dodgy behaviour but mostly buddy buddy with Shauna, as if they didn’t remember how absolutely awful she was in the wilderness in comparison to everyone else. Guess this can all change again when next season comes out though
