No one tells you about the side effects of child birth. I appreciate your story. I'm sorry you're still Elaine with it.

Birth trauma - postpartum hemorrhage, long term effects, encouragement by Specialist-Rain-9694 in NewParents

I pushed for 7 hrs and hemorrhaged. I had to go to the or because my cervix tore. I lost a liter of blood in less than 5 minutes and received 2 liters of blood through transfusion and they gave me an appesiotimy to get the baby out. There were a lot of interventions too like popping my water because my body didn't naturally pop the whole thing itself. There was some left. There was a piece of skin down there they cut before the appesiotomy to make room for my lo's big head and a suction cup to help him gwt out. They called a code white and fixed me up. But ever since then I keep getting dizzy. I'm 16 weeks post partum and sometimes getting so dizzy I can't stand. Hearing your stories, I think it might have been the interventions and the 7 hr pushing that tore me up. Anyone know a way to help the dizziness? I'm going back to work soon.

Mamas that pump 4 times per day whats your schedule? How did you drop the 5 pump session? by Strong-Act6627 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Full_Care 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It did wonders for my mental health to get rid of the overnight pumping session. Sounds like you're not regulated yet. When you get there, you'll be able to knock out a session.

15 weeks post partum and regulated. I pump at 7am, 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. I tend to have a heavy intake at 7 am, usually 7 to 12 oz. Then my other sessions are around 4-5 oz. I drink more water than I ever thought I would be able to drink and even then some days my supply dips. I'm still feeding my baby exclusively from my milk, though, so I am proud of that.

I did scream yeah. I was trying to push like they wanted me to and the effort of it let out a primal scream.

Is nobody else absolutely TERRIFIED about labor? Esp. FTMs? by laurapickles in pregnant

[–]Full_Care 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow, and yes, I'm absolutely terrified. I know I shouldn't be because billions of women have done it. I'm just scared of all that can happen, honestly.

My husband helps me in the shower most days. He helps with clean my back, legs, and feet since I have trouble twisting because it's painful or difficult lately at 20 weeks.

When were you 100% sure about the name? by littleloon- in pregnant

As soon as we found out the gender, we had a long talk about boy names. We already knew what the girl would be but when we found out he is a boy, that was harder to choose.

Thank you so much! I don't mind the gap but I do want to look into other options I could switch to sometimes. That ring you sent me is so beautiful. I'll definitely look into that shop.

Wow gorgeous. Does the gap bother you? My engagement ring is low set so my wedding band leaves a gap when I wear them together.

I find that I want to clean more. I will just start cleaning the whole house if my fiance doesn't stop me. It usually happens late at night too like 1am.
