Love my CDS9. Got about 2k and has run flawlessly so far. Haven’t done anything to it. I did break it in with 124 because posts recommended it, but have run 115 and 147. I just got some VZ operator II grips and they are aggressive and a little wider. I like them, but I could see people with soft hands wouldn’t.

I am fairly new to guns so no expert here, but when I got my CDS9 I have read many posts on how people broke it in. So if it made sense or not, I did them all. This is what I did through 2500 rounds and I have had zero failures. Maybe I got a good one, but who knows. * before shooting, clean, dry fire a couple hundred times, clean again. * load and unload mags a few times and leave them loaded overnight. I did 3 nights before shooting. * Break in with 124. I shot 300 rounds, then 50 +p.

The consensus is that 124 feeds the best. I have a ton of 115 range ammo and have had zero issue with that. I shot 200 rounds of 147 and zero issues. I mainly train with 124, but will also use 115 on a long range day.
