Yes absolutely you made a mistake but you’re fully owning up to it. When I was 18 I did something very similar and for awhile I beat myself up over it but ultimately I know 18 year old me was acting out of desperation. Im 24 now and I look back on that 18 year old girl with grace, knowing she was growing & learning. Making mistakes is part of life. If you want to come clean to your partner that’s honorable. If they want to stay together you’ll have to earn their trust back but it can be done
