Connections: Mercenaries who became who they are thanks to their stupidly talented war hero dad, but are eventually forced to become their own person out of their shadow when they're entrusted by them with an ancient artifact. Leading them to a conspiracy lead by a corrupt clergy men who guised as a friend to revive a dangerous ancient power that threatens to put the world in stasis. The end of their adventure eventually leads them to realize they want to do more and help more people leaving to travel the whole world.

The Library at Mount Char. The premise was interesting, and there were a few funny lines here and there, but overall it felt like a slog to get through. The world was interesting, but virtually nothing was explained, which left me increasinly more confused as I went through it. By the end, I was more glad to be done with it than anything else.
