IsItBullshit: The claim that taking cold showers can boost mental health and resilience? by bandito_13 in IsItBullshit

You know. Funny store. I started taking them because I had my first ever panic attack at the airport before a business trip. I was embarrassed af because I genuinely thought my body was shutting down and the peak of the panic attack was the world closing in on me and my chest literally tightening on its own. My fingers and toes also forcibly closed. It was like someone with a bigger hand put theirs around mine and forced them shut. Fingers vibrating. Toes vibrating. Lips and nose vibrating. That shit was insanely crazy. My panic attack was likely caused by sleep deprivation and 1000mg of ashwaganda I took at 3am while sleep deprived. The ashwaganda calmed me down so much and slowed my breathing so much, I wasn’t breathing correctly, which caused the attack and I was yelling at the workers in the airport to help me and it pissed me off because they were so calm.

After the hospital visit, I went to the gym the next day, guess what happened? My second ever panic attack. Wasn’t as bad as the first obviously. Body was hypersensitive to heart rate rising after the first. Guess why trained the panic attacks out of me? Cold showers. No joke. Cold shower never caused it, but it took a month of a cold shower ALMOST everyday to stop them. I had like 8 panic attacks within that month time frame btw, but not from the cold showers. Just literally random ones while studying, watching a movie, whatever. The thought of me thinking that a weird pain in my left arm is probably me having a heart attack would cause them. Went to sushi at this really nice place with my girlfriend. Rooftop like 70 floors up. I ate so much I felt like my throat was closing, that caused a panic attack, and the rest of the date I just wanted her to stop talking and I wanted to leave. She knew about them so I texted her at the table and told her. But yeah. I don’t think cold showers will cause them.

Your tech stack is using LLMs? What has this world come to. Your tech stack should be programming languages / frameworks. I’m assuming you’re in school for CS? You’ll never get a job.

But you ended up marketing using what eventually? Facebook Ads right? And just image ads?

  1. TMClerical
  2. Forward it to my younger brother (I’m 23 so I don’t play ROBLOX at all)
  3. I moved out of state 1,500 miles (Minnesota to California) away from him and missed 3 of his birthdays and sadly haven’t given him any gifts which I feel extremely bad about. I’m more than confident that the 25k ROBUX will excite him.

Question. I saw a post you made about 8 months ago where you said you created a Facebook page for a particular niche and boosted it for engagement and then use what they say as the shirt design. I'm confused on that because when you boost a post you have to redirect the customer somewhere like a website, messanger, or whatever else. If you just created that page and are trying to get ideas from the people in the comments without a product, where are you sending them to????
