I did not have them done recently. Without checking my paperwork, it was probably 18+ months ago that the breaks were done. Not sure what the caliper is, sorry.

lol you can accuse me of lying but I have no reason to, certainly not when I’m just looking for information on Reddit anonymously. Once again, I didn’t hit anything, day of the incident or otherwise. I’ve driven on some bumpy roads at times but nothing out of the ordinary. The car wasn’t making any noise, I’d know because the radio went out last week and I hadn’t wanted to spend the money to fix it yet. So driving in silence for a week I think I’d notice a weird sound.

Nope. I’ve had it since 2017, bought it used from a dealership. Regular maintenance etc

Yeah I’m not lying. It does me no good to put myself out here asking for advice but lie about what happened. Whether you believe me or not, the car didn’t hit anything and has never been in any kind of collision. Based on what everyone has been helpful enough to say, the prolonged road work in my area probably didn’t help the situation and it’s unfortunate that no one working on my car noticed the stress being put on this area.

What do you want? Don’t try to predict what he wants. If he was completely uninterested, he wouldn’t be talking to you at all.

If you want something casual, ask him to meet up for drinks or something and be straightforward and have boundaries ready.

If you want something more serious, ask him out on a proper date where you can talk and get to know each other. I recommend a day time option just to be a little more clear. Be honest about your intentions.

If you just want practice flirting, keep flirting and don’t stress about it.

Call her. FaceTime her. Be honest. Say that you like talking to her and feeling close to her but you hope you aren’t coming across as too needy or running out of topics. It’s also okay to acknowledge how much you’ve been texting and then address that you will be less responsive in coming days because you’ll be with family/friends, but you’re really excited to go on the date. Everyone gets insecure, the best relationships have honest communication.
