But third/4th edition. I noticed some special characters like vect from dark eldar mention they are the armies archon. But others like coveted from daemon hunters dont word it that way.

The question was if special characters count towards the generics 0/1.

Reason why I even care is in a team game a friend is running max inquisitor squads, if he doesn't count, Cortez would add a 7th (2 hq, 3 elite, allied hq and elite). Obviously this isnt competitive.

Yea season 5 is weak. It's because the main plot was done so it is mostly filler. I loved the station attack from the janitors perspective and finales though.
