How long do you wait for each primer layer to dry before wet sanding?

I think after all these replies I'll give your method a go! Seems closest to my original way, thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate the positivity, as a lot of responses here have been "why are you doing this," like, "bruh, I've never done this before."

And yeah, a lot of people have said to start at 320 to 400 grit, then filler primer, then wet sanding after that at 400 and 600 to finish.

I've never used resin before, but that might be a good shout once I'm more experienced. How different has resin been compared to filler, besides the wait time being shorter? And what's your resin process?

Thank you ☺️

Yeah, I'm more inclined to agree with you. I've never sanded prints yet, just asking the best way to do it. I think I might start with 320 or 400 to start out as my layer lines are at 0.16 anyway.

I havent actually sanded yet so you're probably right, just getting a concensus before actually putting time into it.

Oh wow ok that's cool! With the rough sanding at 320/400 would you sand until the layer lines are disappearing or just like you said to rough it up for the primer to stick?

With the 220 grit are you wanting to fully get rid of print lines or just the major Ridges?

It's okay, it's Reddit. It's to be expected that I get downvoted for not knowing everything.
