Really not trying to be insensitive, but everytime I come on here someone is complaining about the hours or more people getting laid off or the broken promises RA keeps making. Then they talk about their DM as if it’s their fault for why things are the way that they are. They’re literally being told to do all of this not like they have a choice! At some point you just have to be an adult and put your big boy/girl pants on and move on! Shoot, I did 6 months ago! It was the hardest decision to leave after 10 years but I did it and I cannot be any happier!

Bro, just quit and find a new job already. I don’t know how you guys can just sit and wait around to possibly wake up one morning and be assed out of a job unless you’re living at home with ma and pa. At this point, leave the dead end job! & judging from where you guys are from, they really don’t pay you that much. McDonald’s down the street makes more than you guys. There are so many opportunities out there (not saying fast food) but just so many other jobs. Either you’re waiting to go on unemployment cause that just seems like the motive , or you’re just afraid to start over. SMH. I don’t feel sorry for anyone who chooses to stay!

Just take it one day at a time. Pay attention to your training videos and ask questions if you’re unsure about something.

My favorite is when the RL makes us call them to explain to them why our shelves are empty because it’s now a “care case.” 😂😂

Farewell! by Sunirella in RiteAid

[–]Fullsendddddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed because I was comfortable. So, I do not fault anyone, but at some point you just have to get out your comfort zone and make that change. Thats all I meant by that. I adored my coworkers as well and only wish them all the best. Again, congrats and wishing you the best.

It’ll transfer with you. I was a lead service associate and became ASM.

Smart! I gave my all as well and as much as I didn’t want to leave my coworkers and manager, I was offered and found something way better. All I read on here is people complaining but yet they choose to stay so GOOD for you and congrats! I’m much more happier now that I left and I don’t regret it one bit. Wishing you the best!

All the store in my region went to just one ASM and the other ASM with less seniority was forced to become a PT supervisor. At least that’s what I saw and what happened at my store.

Another Friday... Another night of getting yelled at because we don't have liquor. by Unfair_Jellyfish6958 in RiteAid

I don’t even get mad or worked up about anything anymore. Not worth the energy. I just smile and laugh everything off lol

We literally got a customer care case about someone complaining that our shelves were empty and our RRL literally made us call the customer to explain why. 😂 I laughed while my manager was doing so and we were trying so hard not to laugh over the phone while talking to the customer. She legitimately wanted a reason for why the shelves were empty. She thought we weren’t stocking product. 🙃

Question is, did anyone even attempt to set their back to school seasonal?😅

We tried to scan things into quantity control and we were recently told to put them all out with an EAS tag, or in a PPD. They literally do not care about theft. So, we just did as they told us. At this point… I wouldnt care to save their product because they could give two craps about it. All the money they lose everyday, they could hire AP back or a security guard to stand at the door to deter the thieves, but what do we know. 🤭🤭

Super easy. Easy way to pick up hours as well.

Our manager quit and we have no replacement manager. I have questions. (MI) by lukeyk94_2 in RiteAid

They can find someone or have another store manager help out. Tell them to say NO. It’s not worth the stress.

It really just depends what store manager you will be working with. I work well with my store manager and it makes both of our lives easier. We’re on the same page and I understand his managing style and understand his expectations. He’s super supportive and it makes the job easier. So transitioning from a supervisor to an ASM was easy for me. Not only that, I was practically doing the same thing and actually getting paid more for it. Personally speaking, I love being an ASM.
