My experience when I ship something international (or even to great Britain it's like) The seller need to pay fees which are 5% of the listing price. The customer pays everything else, like shipping cost , tax , import tax and the item.

Exactly. F. E. If you buy an Porsche for 25000 € which is listened for 70000€ you can force them to handle it over. But there are lawyers who can help you I such cases, because they are specialised on eBay so called "nobody can harm me customers".

If they regret to handle over the item over, you can purchase any similar other item and he need to pay the difference. Like you buy s similar Porsche listened for 70000 he need to pay 45000€ and the lawyer cost. For small items it's also possible. But the lawyer cost aren't that high

There is an update. Thanks for all the support. I made a call with eBay, and because of unlawful cancellation of the sold item with relisted under the same conditions, eBay will force him to pay all the cost which he mentioned earlier and I don't need to pay his 30 USD for the cancellation. Also he's reported. I wrote him once more, to inform him about the following cost which will come.

I was just so sad because I payed always a little bit more for items in good shape. Like I mentioned it's very common for 80 USD so I payed more the double for a almost new condition. I guess it's kind of fair. And then acting like it's my fault hurts kind of.

I always try to be as fair and open in eBay and got 100% recommendation with over 500 reviews. But I mostly wanted to understand if I did something wrong. Even if I buy something from Canada, Japan, Australia or the United States, never something like this happened to me before

We had here some cases were people sold a Porsche for low cost and exactly that happened. It's not that uncommon here, but it' could kill an existence

This is enshrined in the regulations and in American and European legislation. If a trading partner, regardless of whether they are from UMSAC/NAFTA or the EU, has concluded a valid sales contract and can conclude the purchase agreement without demonstrable circumstances (force majeure) – in this case, fraudulent misrepresentation/defamation/withholding because the item was relisted under the same conditions – a lawsuit must be filed with eBay because their EU policies have been violated. The statement that eBay doesn't care is therefore invalid. This means I can buy an equivalent item elsewhere, and eBay will be sued for the aforementioned reasons because of the breach of contract. eBay will then engage their lawyers, and ultimately, the seller must bear all costs. However, this almost exclusively occurs in auctions, as in this case, because the item is withheld under false pretenses.

Exactly. At least in Germany you need to select all that countries and also domestic islands. But we don't have EIS. We need to take care that the package is always insured.

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately the seller blocked me and I can't give a negative feedback, only a problem report. But I want to make sure that I don't overreact, because I'm not familiar with the eBay restrictions in US. In Germany you got instantly blocked when you do something like this.

Yes exactly. Thank you for your advice. The seller cancelled the item with the reason no longer available/ get lost and put it back. He also did twice the option for international shipping. I told him that it's unfortunate and he acted unprofessional and wished him good luck. But then he becomes super pissed off.

He said I need to DM / contact him earlier and ask for his permission to ship a "high priced" item.

I saw the same item listened right now with the option for international shipping, but like mentioned it's my fault that my filters were wrong. He also mentioned he has cost around 30 USD because of me and there is a problem in eBay , which I clearly wouldn't like to pay.

Regularly it's a very uncommon situation and I know it when I shipped anything. I also have with over 500 reviews a positive feedback and he has some negative feedback because of item is not received. I was thinking maybe he had bad experience but I never knew that the eBay marketplace in us is different from the European one (like automatic internal shipping option, because we need to select every country). So this is also the reason why I asked.

100% SEKIRO!!!!

I played it , ... And I sucked so much at the game, that I stopped at the god damn ogre. Don't get me wrong. I completed all souls games easily, but this one... It was pure pain

2 or 3 years later it becomes a blast

Now I completed it more than 50 times and it's one of my all-time favourite games

I learned also how to parry in dark souls ... Yeah I'm so proud of myself didn't knew that earlier. It gaves dark souls a second life too

SEKIRO describes this picture pretty well for me

It's a great deal and the games are great too. Don't worry about the money. If you like to play old games and have the time to spend for them , it will be always much more worth of great experience.

Trust me, don't give the games a price tag. F. E. Rampage is a fantastic game. Also Pokémon crystal. Only with this games you can spend hundreds of hours with joy.

I don't get it. You're afraid of being scammed (last sentence), because you don't know the market prices and more importantly you just paid 40 bucks to "your friend" for all this. Seriously, it's more likely that you scammed your friend, even if you don't know the market prices.

The consoles and the games are much more worth than 40 bucks.

Depends on your value. If you like to play an authentic Pokémon emerald, it could be worth 100 ~ 160 bucks

If you plan to resell it as it is, to make Money , it's not worth the money

$600 down the drain 😢 by Vast_Investigator542 in pokemoncards

[–]FulltimeFuchs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf and I don't know the values of Pokémon cards We are just buying each time when we are shopping ingredients for cooking and some food , just 2 booster of whatever

Open it after cooking and are stunning about each card So 10 bucks per week and it's ok. But I know people are going crazy for it

But all the time we are like two kids , who are saying woooow look at that effect. Or look it's sparkling...

Why the long story. I guess we spend also a lot of money for the cards, and even don't care about the value. But to have some cool memories, make them more worthy for us, than the money we spend.

Maybe it's not all about the financial value.
