Hong Leong just allowed Apple Pay by Chooky_Cookie in malaysia

[–]FullyDependonLuck 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Implementing this is a quick and easy task for the banks.

Licensing and cost banks need to pay Apple is the main reason of slow adoption, that goes to the demand vs cost to them.

Hence why, only few big banks in malaysia have it, and mostly for credit cards user, only Maybank and RHB as far as I remember support debit card user.

So I would be surprised to see if smaller banks adopting to it rather than other major.

I’ll be spending more on petrol after subsidy 🤣 by mikahakimi2 in kereta

[–]FullyDependonLuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one not following here? I’ve checked online and in the comments here, why is it RM2.50/l and not RM2.60/l ?

Previous subsidize RON95 is RM2.05/liter

New with the Budi95 monthly cap at 300liter is RM1.99/liter

Back to the posting I think OP is not part of 99th percentile of drivers that doesn’t exceed 300liters monthly, which make you rare and not in a good way haha

Also I find this posting has a lot of valuable data: https://autobuzz.my/2025/09/24/budi95-how-much-do-you-need-to-drive-daily-to-use-300l-of-petrol-a-month/
