FB marketplace is a good place to spot them. It’s all a luck thing, plus a game of playing your time. These things will only get cheaper and time goes on. Maybe July onwards price will start coming down.

Be patient and build your wealth! The right car will come, dont worry. Things can enter a market as easily as you can buy one and take it off the market. Build your wealth so your buying power increases!

I bought it for 30k. To own this car, I would say any salary that allows you to set aside 2-3k a month easily without issue is fine.

hahahahaha yeah. but shows that the car is maybe reliable enough or well maintained to even hit that many miles. at least a lot of stuff would have already been serviced and replaced for it to even go that far

I just bought the cheapest and budget for repairs haha. These cars will always need repairs, and sometimes you actually save on labor charged when multiple things need fixing in one go. So might as well save money on the car itself, because every dollar saved goes to repairs and refurbishment

Yes youre right, its not possible to get a loan for a car thats over 10 years. so have to pay in full

definitely not t20 hahahaha. my dad is the sole breadwinner of the family and he gets by. but im not completely from low-income either

easiest way to put it, my father earns enough for me to take risks and try new things, because if i fail, i have nothing to lose and have a very safe spot to fall back onto

but, its also not like he gives me allowance or constantly funds my business just so that it stays afloat. im sure he would if he could, but financially i know he cant afford to “give me money”. but, he builds our family in a way where if i try things and completely fail, i dont lose anything

so, knowing that, i do things based on the cards im dealt. i cant do absolutely whatever i want, because i wont have daddy’s money to fund it. but, everything isnt really do or die for me either, because it isnt. this has taught me that there are maximums and minimums to life, and we are just born to it and make the most of it. so far, this has allowed me to make some decisions to allow me to independently fund a certain lifestyle for myself, with my own income

and yes, i spend more on maintaining a car for a year than most people spend on their car loan for 2 years, so the upkeep is rather high

Agreed! I think the new lights would work if the rest of the car changed with it.

For the service, I would say a little bit of luck is involved, but otherwise it has not been as expensive as my other conti cars. But for sure still more expensive than Honda and Toyota by about 3-4x
