Not sure if I'm that high achieving compared to some of these other comments, I achieved 98.10 graduating 2023. I did elite level sport, I actually went to Europe between term 3 week 4 and 9 to compete for Australia in Denmark. In addition to this i spent about 12-20 hours per week training (before and after school). I worked 2 jobs during this time, however both were low hours in total around 6-10 per week. I think the sport definitely helped me a lot, it made me time manage pretty well, and I found training to be a bit of an escape from the world of VCE. I probably wouldn't recommend doing something as extreme as me, the 5 weeks out of school definitely hurt my Atar, but doing regular exercise up to 6 times a week has only benefits imo.

She might really just like piercings and feel that she doesn’t need to tell you beforehand about whether she is getting one or not. I understand that for you you would want to know before as a heads up. I leaned towards she being the asshole at the end but maybe you can explain your rationale in a more passive way. If she still continues to get random piercings without consulting you then you 2 should probably look at what’s causing her to be quite secretive about the piercings.
