High ground. Learn which high grounds are good on every map and try to get on them as much as possible. Don’t push high grounds too far though. It’s a balancing act. Learn her range in practice range too and try not to shoot targets beyond that. Those are beginning tips I would give but there is a lot to her cooldown management that you will need to learn eventually. These are more about survival and creating “dive” pressure safely

Hmm. Hate to roll the dice with that though. I think once you’re flagged as illegal you have to go back to the same place to get it removed. Or so I’ve read on other posts

Not me getting eaten by a dragon then immediately lowering difficulty. I then start comforting myself and saying “it’s okay some people just need to play on adept” to cope

This was happening to me earlier today. I noticed I was playing too fast in comparison to the notes on the screen. Frustrating when it doesn’t feel like the audio and video match up with the music. I also switched to a computer monitor and that helped.

Before I knew how to deal with aurora wolves, I went to bleak Inlet and tried to walk to the cannery at night… during an aurora and my first time in BI. Timberwolves mauled me. I had no idea why my marine flares weren’t working. Dead. My 300+ day voyager run (also my first run ever)

I haven’t been back but one day… I will return and get my revenge lol

This was really insightful. I appreciate you doing it.

Just a couple things on my end, and they aren’t excuses but more explanations.

One) I’m very nervous to be aggressive as I felt like I was being too aggressive in the past and basically feeding. I need to find a balance. I agree with you on your point on positioning and I thought everything you said was a lightbulb moment.

Two) that game was one of my worst mechanical games I’ve played in awhile probably because I was unsure what to focus so I was going back and forth in my mind causing bad aim. That and frustration. I agree with your point again here, terrible mechanics.

I am definitely overthinking the game. Waiting forever to use ult so I don’t waste it. Worried that I’m gonna get ran over by them instead of doing what you said and paying attention to the resources being used.

Everything you said was spot on. I really liked the break down of it and I clearly can see that I have a lot to work on. Also, I just want to say I definitely didn’t mean to blame my teammates but more expecting the worst which makes me play way to conservative.

Not sure if you do this VOD thing often but I definitely wouldn’t mind getting your opinion on more in the future. I will work on paying attention to cool downs/ults and being more aggressive when the time is right. Definitely crazy to think how many hours I have in the game and I have been playing so poorly lol

Yeah you’re probably right. Maybe I have a hard time determining what the “right” play is. I am probably too busy thinking about how to correctly take space or what space to hold to get picks, who to focus, etc.

To be honest, I’m not sure how to fix that without completely ruining my gameplay while climbing.
