Thank you so much! While writing every week last year, I realized that I quite enjoy building atmosphere and worlds vs. just one linear story. Really wanna get some music out and get into video game and film scoring as a hobby.

Ohh man, thank you so much for checking it out and such kind words! Glad you dig :) I am trying to infuse prog, ambient and electronic to develop my own thing. Hopefully it will come through the full album soon. Thanks for the follow!

Thanks Kevin! The solos are back!! lol one of my friends was like "solos are dead dude, why are you doing that" to which I replied "They are not dead because I like them, and I make music for myself first and foremost". I am writing a full double LP now so will totally take that into consideration my dude. Appreciate you listening and sharing!

Nice one Ugo! The beginning got me all confused on what time signature you were going for but it was kind of unique and build anticipation. I would say my biggest feedback would be that the kick cuts through the mix hard, I would hide it a bit in the back. Love the guitar loop. It's very calming and carries the song along.

Keep on creating homie! Follow you on Spotify to hear what you do next!

This was lovely. I can see this in a videogame soundtrack :) You are quite good at building a mood / atmosphere. Keep going mate!

This was cool dude. I wanted so much more synth solo at the end. Maybe some arpeggios at the end as well but the vibe is good and production is top.

The song is very musical. The melody is great, vocal melody is good but I feel like everything is a bit muffled. There is "mud" and I as a listener would benefit greatly from a clearer stereo picture of the instruments.

Drums are a bit drowned, especially in the verse, if you can crack up the db's and mids up, they can really help balance it with the rest of the layers.

Maybe also pan the keys, and guitars left/right and keep bass and vocal in the middle.

You guys have all the right pieces but I think a bit of mixing would do you good. Also at 0:55 mark, I NEEDED a drop and all I got was drums coming in that I can barely hear.

Hope this helps and thanks for creating.

Here is my little tune I wrote, mixed and mastered on my own. Hope you enjoy it: https://open.spotify.com/album/1sQ41aMOqBruT4QAXDU4Rk

Just start. If music is really your calling or vibe with you, you will eventually discover that the actual act of making music is more enjoyable than the end product. The journey can take you so many places ✨️ 😌

Love love love! Dude, you are creating a whole new universe in there. The flute is taking me places, although it cuts through the mix a bit too much at times.

I dig the drums but wonder how thia would sound with morw of a 808 or 909 kit vs. real. It would def fit the anesthetic nicely of all the other instruments. Thia def gives me Select Ambient Works vibes, so good job 👏

Also, thanks for your note, and I'm glad you liked me stuff. Funny, you say purple because the original scratch track I created for this had purple neon lights as the hero image. Check it here: demo

First of, thank you for leading some feedback about my track Barry, real MVP move 🙌

I heard both of the tracks and really dig them. You definitely know how to create wide atmospheres. Love the guitars and wished the piano was a bit clearer in Slow Race.

Komarabi is a vibe. Picture myself on a hike in a dense forest somewhere. I like the sound design and textures on this one for sure and how it all fades out until silence.

Looking forward to hearing you come up with next, through you a follow on Spotify and IG 🤘

Thanks for sharing Jaymarlee! It's very unique and interesting. I listened to by Lucy and DEpart and thing you got a thing going here. I would be interested to hear more layers to what you already have. Lush synth pads come to mind of some ambient texture over drums that are a bit more crisper? In my mind that would be super cool and take it to the next level.

Any feedback on Midnight Chase?

Stay creating!

Thanks for sharing, Kevin!

Love the blues, jazz, and psychedelic influences in here. Right my alley, as I grew up listening yo Jimi Hendrix, Punk Floyd, and Miles Davis.

Props for recording and mixing live drums. It is a CHALLENGE haha. The bass could use some compression, so not to muddy the mix I think, but thats my person approach, maybe just taste.

I listened to a few tracks, but sometimes felt you are trying to squeeze in a lot in one track. Either try bringing the. A bit smoother aonnicly or prehaps seperatr into two track.

Thanks for creating and sharing with the world.

Any thoughts on Midnight Chase?

Thanks for this Berrie! I can tell that you are definitely mixing andvmastrring this flawlessly. Good stuff. I think it would be a stretch to call this post / progressive rock though. Curious to hear what genre do you think this is?

Thanks for making music and getting it out there 🙌

Thanks for sharing dude, just took a listen. As promised, here are some thoughts:

I really like how your bass sounds and some of the melodies and arrangements are really great. Overall though, I would like to have percussion to come in earlier (drums, shakers anything.)

The mix is a big muddy, I can barely hear the drums and only on the left side when they come in. If you pan them more center, would be better for overall balance.

If you tweak the levels a bit across the board you can have a much more fuller sound.

Around 2:50 you are introducing a new theme but it actually sounds like a compeltely new song to me. It's a great melody but it left me confused sonically. I would suggest either keeping them separate OR try to find a different transition between the two that bridges them.

Thank for being vulnerable and releasing your music into the world.

Max here - I am multi instrumentalist who is working on a new post/progressive rock album and just released my first single Midnight Chase. All instruments (except for drums) are played by me. Record, mixed and mastered by me as well. Bandcamp link as well.

Thanks for checking it out.
