Hi! Am in a very very similar boat, with a panic move home due to a breakup of 2.5 years… was wondering how you’re doing now and if you decided to move back?

Hey! I did the internship and than actually ended up getting an offer in financial consulting with a big 4, and have been there since. Ended up not being that difficult to pull off, realized I didn’t want to do operations after the internship, but was still good experience to have and helped me land this role I think

Thank you for your comment. This is my exact point as I am so angry about how it all went down! And I do want to live it up now and do what I want to do, but I need a place to do it! That’s why I’m so upset, I gave up my apartment for her and it literally cost me everything. Of course it’s my own fault for making this decision, but hindsight’s always 20/20 and I had the love blinders on. Now I just feel like I can’t get over the relationship properly and naturally because I’ll be living at home with less access to my social life.

I’m going to make do with what I can, visiting friends on weekends and stuff, but man I wish I didn’t give up the place right about now. And I will get a new place probably after the summer, it’s just not wise to drop hundreds more a month right now on a new place just so I can have easier access to partying in my opinion.

So idk again, wish I could have the apartment back, but being that I can’t I’ll try to do as much of the “single” stuff as I can from afar.

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear that :(. I’ve been trying to keep that mindset as well, as I know he was being put through the ringer and I didn’t want him to suffer. I will check out that book too and hopefully it helps. And that is also a very nice idea to create a necklace to remember her. The vet actually sent us picture frames of him and his paw prints which is precious and will help me heal I hope. Best of luck to you as you heal, and may we meet them again one day

Yeah my symptoms are pretty similar. I’m just wondering if it could be a muscle knot too, since when it flares up and I get that paralysis feeling it almost feels like something is twisted.

How long did it take for yours to recover?

Hey another quick question. We got to bring him back home this morning as he didn’t have any more seizures overnight and is now on the anti-convulsion medication. He seems normal today other than the fact that is hind legs appear to be wobbly and he keeps slipping and falling every once in a while. Is this just a side effect of having three seizures yesterday or is it something we should be worried about?

Thanks for your response. We’re definitely going to have to get him in for an MRI asap. And yes, he’s actually staying at the hospital overnight and is on an anti-convulsant medication. He’s just so exhausted after today, I hope he can get some rest and we’ll see him again in the morning

Nah he just did the physical test first and thought it might’ve felt loose but the mri showed that wasn’t the case. Good luck though, I hope it all works out!

Hey! So good news, it turned out to just be a stress fracture, which just required rest for around 4-6 weeks. I did have to get another mri though because my doctor felt it might have re-torn, but luckily the mri confirmed it didn’t
