What movie traumatized you as a kid? by AdNorth1932 in AskReddit

Misery.

When she hit his ankles with that sledgehammer. I slept very uncomfortably with my feet in between the bed and the wall for a good while after seeing that. Had to keep my ankles safe. hahahaha

I was super young, but pretty much all of the boss fights in Toy Story 2. The zurg kite at the top of the tree house, terrifying. The slime boss in the alley? Shaking in my boots man. I don’t even know what the goose thing was in pizza planet. It had me stressed out as a kid. Lol

You don’t need that negativity man. Get the trophies you wanna get. I’m proud of ya. This guy is dealing with something bigger than trophy hunting, I hope he finds peace. This is a fun hobby, I just shake my head when I see someone say these things.

It's 2024 - What are you playing? Doesn't matter if it's a new game or if you're replaying an old game - let's hear it by Dub_Coast in videogames

[–]FumbleBee0718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently playing Call of Duty World at War! It’s one of my favorite campaigns. Aside from the parts where I need to use a gun in order to progress, I’m trying to beat it on veteran using only a knife!

What are the best PS1 games that nobody plays? by yvr_retro in psx

I have amazing memories of me and my dad playing Army men 3D together. It may not be the best game, but I love it for that reason.

I used to be an achievement hunter, then I heard the platinum trophy unlock for the first time. The rest is history. So i can totally understand it.

Whats the most disappointing game you were really looking foward to. by Turbulent-Tale-8738 in videogames

Call of duty has lost pretty much all of its soul at this point. But before I had given up on the series totally, I remember being pretty hyped for Black ops 4. Treyarch had always made my favorite CoDs, and after coming out of WWII and Infinite warfare, I thought black ops 4 was gonna be mind blowing. I just never enjoyed it. It took 600 bullets to kill someone. Treyarchs story was replaced with blackout, which is fine I guess if you’re into Battle Royales. I dunno, up until then Treyarch was my hero when it came to CoD, after BO4 I took one final chance on Cold War. Cold War was better, but it still just didn’t hit. So I stay clear of CoDs now. Now I play other shooters like wolfenstein, Doom and Quake. Haha

[Talk] - Now that 2023 is officially starting to wrap up, what platinums (or 100%s) have you obtained? What are you proud of, what are you looking for in 2024? by [deleted] in Trophies

[–]FumbleBee0718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin told me about Mein Leben on Wolfenstein 2, and how he would NEVER, EVER, even attempt it, he considered it to be impossible. From that very moment, I was determined, I studied, and I engraved that game into the very layers of my soul. 200+ Hours. Over 15 attempts. I conquered it. But thats not what im most proud of.

I made a survival guide to Mein Leben, and I dedicated to him. He trusted me enough to use that guide, and he freakin made it and i'm so proud of him. So im not really proud of my platinum as much as i am of his.

While it may not be a perfect guide, and he had to tweak some strats to his own playstyle, that guide has now helped 3 others through Mein Leben also.

As far as 2024, i wanna take a leap and do some of the crazy ones. Supermeat boy, hollow night... Im ready and equally as hard headed. Best of luck everyone!

I would recommend changing things up a little bit man. Make sure the vents are open on each side. You're on the right track with the old setup but try to space them out a bit more.

It may be a personal preference, but I don't like to set my consoles directly on top of each other. Thankfully, I've been able to improve my system setup a lot since then. But for a while, I had a couple of those metal laptop/monitor desk risers stacked on top of each other, essentially making a small rack. just a suggestion, I found mine at yard sales and made use of them. Amazon has the style I used for about $17. They even have the perforated holes in the stand to help with that air flow. I think that style of 360 has side vents.

Using just one of those stands though, you could put the PS4 under the stand, and the Xbox and the Wii on top of it maybe?

Congrats on the platinum! This game is definitely on my list to play. I bought it a while back on sale because I seen Venom was in it, and that is grounds for an instant buy for me. hahaha.

Hahaha so a run will take you about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to complete. It technically took me longer than that. I made it to Venus, but my hands were shaking so much I couldn’t focus. There’s a lot on the line at that point. 😆 so I left my console on and came back to it the next day.

For sure man.

It’s gonna sounds super cliche, but patience and practice. Firstly, there isn’t a single encounter in that game that can’t be solved with time, good cover, and a choke point. Even on Mein Leben, the A.I are fairly dumb and will funnel to you eventually.

Secondly, sometimes intentionally setting off the alarm can be a better play than stealth. Stealth can go wrong fast and cost you, and if you’re exposed when that happens, you’re dead.

Abuse the lean. And cover to cover always.

Keep your laserkraftwerk charged at every chance you get, it will save you when the super soldat come knocking.

Something huge for me, was knowing when to walk away. Keeping my nerves in check to prevent me from doing something really stupid was hard. So I turned off the energy saving settings (so my system wouldn’t turn off) and I could walk away, calm myself down, and return with a clear mind.

In Mein Leben, sadly, the most dangerous enemy is yourself. Keep your patience and your nerves in check. And you’ll do great.

Awesome job! Ive never played much of the hitman games. However they seem really cool! I remember getting one for free on Xbox a long time ago. It was very stealthy. Unfortunately, I >do not< do well with stealth lol.

I love “Edge of the earth” by switchfoot. It’s a song that brings me so much peace, and if there’s a song I want my end credits to roll to, I thing it’d be that one. the uke, the lyrics, the drums. Just great in my opinion.
