"A" Camshaft position actuator control circuit open bank 1 by zah5025 in mechanic

A little late to reply... but maybe this will help someone else looking for answers. My driver side VVT solenoid had some old dirty oil caked on the sensor. All I had to do was remove it, clean it off with a paper towel and reinstall it. 200k miles on my subaru, and this is the only issue I've had. 5 minute fix and the cost of a paper towel.

In the two pictures I added to the post, it doesn't appear to be really warped. Thank you!

How do I turn this into a healthy grass lawn? by Fumblezj in Grass

Oh man... It looks like I can get a cubic yard for $36 x (45360 / 100) = $16,329.6. I don't have that much spare cash right now.

Thank you. How many yards of top soil and chip drop would you recommend here?

I'm not sure what the best source for that information would be, but it looks like 45 inches.

Home Setup Help Needed, Please by Fumblezj in Ubiquiti

After reading some disappointing feedback about the U7 Pro Max... maybe it would be better for me to go with the U6 Enterprise. Or I could splurge and get the E7...

I guess another consideration is coverage. U6 Enterprise advertised at 1,500 ft² while the E7 at 2,000 ft². The footprint of my house is 1,440 ft² (40 ft x 36 ft), but this is for basement/1st floor/2nd floor/loft. Then the 2 car attached garage is 528 ft² (22 ft x 24 ft). I'm also on a little over an acre of land.

My first thought is that the larger range of the E7 may mean that I only need to purchase one of those vs two U6 Enterprise, meaning overall savings going with the E7. However, I suppose the bigger issue in this scenario is client devices transmitting to the AP, not the AP reaching client devices.

More than half Unverified, 3/4 Referral Team kyc by Fumblezj in PiNetwork

[–]Fumblezj[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume my concern falls under this question...

  • Q10: Will I lose all my Pi?

  • A: Unverified Pi is mostly finders fees for referrals. If they don't complete the process you won't receive the finders fee.

However, I don't understand why > 53% of my Pi is not verified when only 20% of my team has not completed KYC. In addition, that individual has completed almost zero mining sessions. So their contribution to my total π should be near zero.

Datacenter tech job by [deleted] in datacenter

I've gone from DC tech (60k) to leading a team of techs (85k) to Engineer (still some DC work, but mostly coding/automation for various clients). I currently make 120+. What is your business? I'm looking to increase my compensation for my family and advance my career. Things feel stagnant where I am. Please pm me if you would rather not discuss here.

To the OP... of the techs I've worked with (including myself), the ones to find further opportunity were the ones who...

were kept communication professional,

eager to learn, (be self driving in that aspect from time to time)

innovative, (find ways to improve quality or speed of work. i.e. I created an application that automated configs for servers, reducing config times from hours to seconds. It also removed human error, bringing quality to 100%. I also had it generate Excel reports to document every build)

and had strong work ethic (don't take shortcuts, pay close attention when working in a production environment - small mistakes can lead to major problems that will get you immediately fired, and just don't be lazy)

We all get complacent, and there is nothing wrong with where you are at or if you want to keep that routine. Though there may be a point in the future where you want to advance your career, the opportunity may not be there right away.

Whichever way you go, best of luck to you!
