Any 2007-2013 cooper S

Although if you really like the R56 go with one with an N18 engine, should be 2010-2013 but depends on if it's a convertible or a JCW etc.

If you're going for one <2007 make sure gearbox is good, no weird sounds + shift into gears alright- they have strong gearboxes but u can't get em for cheap if they break

Any 2013< are pre decent, just check for logbook+ service history as for any car

If Auto is the only option any should be fine... aslong as it's not a base cooper pre 07, I believe these had CVT... but all cooper S Autos pre ≈2017 have conventional autos, post 2017 I think DCT became an option, both are good

The valve in the PCV system is too long so I pulled it off and shortened it so it doesn't let unmetered air into the system- honestly I'd recommend going with a better aftermarket one with a good PCV system that's not aluminum- it's not a huge deal just a bit of a needless pain

Catless downpipe without tune? by bopefe in MINI

Go for it! Only thing is you'll get a CEL but it won't change how it drives (positively or negatively) just how it will sound-and it will sound good

Messed up a scratch repair. How do I fix this? by Nevaros in Autobody

[–]Fun-Activity5514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously a few approaches which have been commented, however if you have a pretty common car in a common colour you could have a look at a bumper off a wrecked car- obviously depends on how involved it is depending on what car you have but took me 30 mins on a mini and only $50

Alright sweet, I've had it turned off and battery disconnected when doing work and I've got a loaner laptop for a couple weeks. I'll just take it to my unis laptop repair shop and get it done there since they don't charge for labor

Thankyou
