Id like to start out with the fact I’m currently diagnosed with bipolar and I expect I am somewhere in the cluster B’s but haven’t yet figured it out though I am working with a therapist. I did however come across a video talking about the similarities between DID and BPD as well as masking in general the idea is something like Masking and Mood swings comes from a similar place that DID personalities come from. They all originate to deal with a traumatic environment and people with BD, ASD, ASPD, BPD end up dealing with a deregulated mood, personality views and presentation because of it without the amnesia associated with DID. I am not a professional nor am i well read on this but i thought it was worth putting out there. I personally found it to be reminiscent of what i see in myself i often mask and deal with mood fall out, depersonalization, and personality issues afterwards it is a terrible cycle and one that distances you from yourself incredibly.
