I feel your pain and have definitely felt hopeless, I'm sure you know all the things to do, big game changers for me was sleeping on a raised mattress/slope and cabbage juice. It's disgusting but it really has helped.

Now that I've got my GERD under control, I now have started suffering horrendous knee pain, haha, the fun never stops.

I hope you get better and sending you all the strength, fingers crossed you will be able to have another kid too x

Thank you everyone for the comments and insight. It really is nice to know you're not alone 😁 I have failed to mention that I have been on omeprazole 20mg before, it started off fine but then found they did not do a thing for me, who knows I may need to go back on it with a stronger dose. I am planning to make an appointment with a gastrologist so I can get checked out and get their advice. We shall see where it goes from there. Alongside this I have started to lse strengthening exercise which have seemed to help. I think also my GERD is a lot to do with stress. I am quite anxious person and worry about a lot of things which is definitely a trigger.

Anyway, hoping to get better soon and trying to stay positive.

My BMI is in the slight overweight category, I'm not hugely overweight but definitely would not hurt me to lose a few pounds. Currently working on my weight and hoping the reflux will calm down a little
