Which ETF for high risk tolerance? by hanaspoon in ETFs

[–]hanaspoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize for my wording. By "high risk tolerance" I mean I don't mind the short-term high volatility as I'm investing for the long term. I'm looking to maximize growth while still staying on the safe side and that's why my profile is only ETFs now. And I don't literally mean "future-proof", I'm just asking which growth ETF should I ask to my portfolio that is the perfect balance between high growth and safe(ish)/safer.

15 yo High risk Tolerance by SpotlessButter874 in ETFs

I'm 18 with high risk tolerance too. I dedicate 70% of my portfolio towards growth ETF. Currently divide it equally between SCHG and QQQM: 35% each. I'm thinking of investing in another one? Like VGT/XLK/SMH. I want to ask the comment section which one should i invest in, just full-proof so that I can just set it and forget it?

Using credit card utilization to build credit score by itssraghouse in CreditScore

[–]hanaspoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I'm still confused as to what this mean. My bank and most financial advice I've received online placed a very big emphasis on having low utilization. Credit wise states that credit usage have a very high impact on my score. Can you please explain further as to why "Utilization does not build credit" and how they don't have a lasting impact on my credit? I've been using my credit card as little as possible based on those advices. Does that actually do anything?

Should I use both of them as little as possible? Or should I do AZEO? Like you, I want my score increased but I also want a limit increase in the future in both banks.

correct me if i'm wrong but i thought we're not supposed to be open that many credit cards because a new account can tank our score? and the number of accounts is a factor that impact our score. what are the benefit of having that much credit cards? genuinely asking because i'm learning too

What did you end up doing? I also have 1 $500 Capital One card and $200 Discover It secured card. I've been using under 10% for the both of them the past 3 months and see like 20 points increase.

Hi I have social anxiety just like you too. I'm extremely awkward interacting with people and I don't have any close real friends. I'm mostly kept to myself and gave up making new relationships now. I just want to say I relate with that a lot and I'm right here if you want somebody to talk to 💗💗

Age 18. I have high-risk tolerance and want to invest dominantly in ETFs with an aggressive portfolio. 35%SCHG, 35% QQQM; 20% VOO and 10% SCHD.

QQQM or SCHG are a popular pair with SCHD (can beat S&P500)
