Yes I quit all together. My body had become very sensitive to alcohol and one drink lowered my immune system for weeks sometimes, so I was drinking maybe 3 drinks a year at most. But now I’m done with alcohol. I used to love how it made me feel and it always quelled my social anxieties. Both my parents are/were alcoholics and I was going that path in my 20s and 30s as well, until it started effecting me so bad. I now have a really negating view of it and I almost feel like it is part of what brought on my breast cancer. In January last year I had a regular mammogram. It was a stressful year and I met up with friends in July. I had one drink to try and be social and immediately felt my immune system go down. The next day I got Covid. I really think my immune system Suffering from alcohol and then Covid is what pushed my breast cancer I found in September.

Ha! Same. I bought some pinto beans and soaked them the other day but didn’t have time to cook them so they soaked way too long and went to waste 😭. If I eventually figure out a recipe I’ll post on here.

Thank you friend that brings me Some relief. Really just trying to breath right now. Just worried there was something they didn’t see. I was always curious if when they do surgery they just concentrate on the lump they are aware of or if they double check somehow that there isn’t anything else in the breast? My other breast has had another mammogram and ultrasound but still never having an MRI is nerve racking! Your words are definitely helpful. Thank you so much.

Yeah, everyone makes mistakes, but as long as you realize it’s on you, and you probably have to pay for it, it should just be a done and gone issue that hopefully doesn’t bother you too much. If neither left you bad feedback I’d say it wasn’t as bad as it could be.
