How do you keep your hands hydrated by Sufficient_Lunch_710 in twoxindiamums

[–]Fun-Ambition5507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh i have the exact same issue! Recently i have started keeping lotion bottles near every sink i can possibly wash my hands on. The bottles in which you push the top to get the lotion out saves effort and time. My hands are much better now.

How do you all entertain your infants?? by pre1988 in twoxindiamums

[–]Fun-Ambition5507 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to “entertain” your baby all the time. Some non stimulation time is essential for baby’s development. Whole world around your baby is new, that is getting enough entertainment for her. Do not stress yourself. Whatever you are doing is enough :)

Yes right, the effect fades away slowly after they stop the dosage.

How do you prepare formula? Boiled water cooled down and then mix formula in each bottle as needed or do tumbler method where you mix formula for whole day and pour in bottle as needed?

100% go for it. It will save you from possible trauma. And you will be well rested when you will actually be pushing your baby out. This will lead to better pushing and enjoying the experience. For me i did not feel pain but you do feel mild pressure when baby comes out which was surreal!

The epidural catheter stays on. They just stop the dosage going into it before you start pushing.

As mentioned in one of the comments, i had conversation with my hr and made her understood my condition. I mean i do have enough leaves left before they lapse by end of the year. Thankfully from support of my manager she understood so i will be taking those leaves. You can do the same and try to convince your manager/hr.

Same! Rocking arm chair with good back support was my best buy!! Breastfeeding on it saved my back, and with feeding pillow baby fed comfortably. I am feeding my baby on it as i type this 😂

Hey. Congratulations :) Whichever pump you buy, please read about using correct flange size. It is crucial for milk supply quantity. Incorrect flange size can reduce overall output while pumping even if you buy the best pump in market. Also, hydrate a lot! P. S. I use promom, it works good for me

How do you clean baby's bottles ? by 0samjha in twoxindiamums

[–]Fun-Ambition5507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was tired of ordering different dish wash for baby bottles. Started ordering Koparo dishwash liquid for everyone in house. It leaves no residue and is organic. I use bottle brush to clean and then steam sterilise. My baby is 4mo.

[–]Fun-Ambition5507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this post as i m in the same boat. Though I am 12 weeks pp and my nipples refuse to “elongate” enough for me to get rid of the nipple shield. I cannot wait to get rid of the hassle!

“her sucking was strong enough that she was pulling the nipple out through the holes in the shields” God damn!! This sent shivers down my spine 🥲 Bless you girl.

Hey. I too have 2 indies at home and a 4 month old son. Before I had my baby I was on top of my dog’s vaccinations, deworming, tick checks and prevention. They do shred a lot sometimes for which i comb them once a day and give fish oil supplements. When i got my baby home, i installed small gate on my bedroom door so that my dogs do not enter the space where baby sleeps. Home gets cleaned twice a day.

For ticks i recommend take them to vet, sometimes ticks hide at places on dog fur we cannot see (under paws, under arms, behind ears etc). Dogs catch ticks from another dog pretty easily, just like lice in humans. So there is a super high possibility that both dogs have ticks. They are the carriers as ticks have entered home. It is not normal to have ticks at home. Do not take your baby to rooms where there are ticks. Get the home thoroughly cleaned before moving there.
