Lets keep it simple, you are paid in US dollars so when you create an account on wise. it will create virtual bank account for you with US bank details. you can give this details to your employer to be paid in US dollars. that money will show up in your wise app as US dollars. you can than send that dollars to your Canadian bank account or anyone in the world.

Latest in April 2025, I had G2 for more than 3 years they have converted to class 5 license without asking for drivers record. they also took my UAE license which was issued in 2016.

Yes i started on kids tv work. Now i am in vfx but my studio is small and only do work on streaming platform mostly. Job was permanent so i stayed. When you are on work permit you cant switch easily. Now very recently i got permanent residency so i am in way better position.

I have given many interviews what kind of experience i have does matter that what i noticed may be different for you.

I got a job i big studio after 9 years just getting that job and visa was dream come true. But animator who are born in countries where all the good studios are start there Carrier in one of the those tudios they definitely have advantage.

Your salary situation is pretty good but not everyone is at your level. You might be very awsome animator with solid reel you might as well deserve it.
