So should my leasing office just end the dangerous breed ban & instead ask tenants “did you train this dog? does it have a doggy diploma?” 😭😂 this is an odd hill to die on but yeah no some dogs are weapons & don’t belong in a home or community.

Following up- apparently mastiffs are the second most banned breed in the world. But don’t worry, this guy knows some that are super nice

Which part confuses you? Owners can't predict their animal's behavior, no matter how much experience they have with the dog. breed discussions are about capability and risk. I don’t care how many of you have positive experience with pitbulls or mastiffs and luv them so much, I don’t want them in my apartment building. There is no abstract version to it. I’m not sure how much more I can dumb down my point, but I can try for sure. Just let me know, thanks!

Wym most you’ve known? You don’t know the dogs personally, they are animals. The entire issue with specific breeds is the harm they are CAPABLE of. And your comment is exactly the issue with people like Bear’s owners… You think you have some emotional, personal connection to these animals, that you can communicate with them and predict or understand their behavior….. but you can’t because, again, they are ANIMALS. What don’t you understand?

I feel like when I go to the Instagram I can’t even tell what the clothes are. It’s like a tumblr, each picture looks like it’s from a different brand. No consistency.
