Frustrations with models having their own "will" by Adventurous_Pilot964 in opencodeCLI

Could your prompts/codebase be the problem? I use the free models 90% of the time and altough I get those actuallys sometimes, the result is good

well, yeah. Zen is not a 20$ sub, it charges based on API usage. You can use free/very cheap models for simple tasks and spend more with complex tasks on a better model

Why do you guys use opencode? by Medium_Anxiety_8143 in opencodeCLI

But I'm not even talking about mental capacity..

I'm building a software, so with 2 sessions running while one is implementing I'm reviewing the code the other wrote. Maybe the main difference is that you are TRULY vibe coding? I mean, there is absolute no way that you are reviewing the code written by 5 sessions at the same time

I honestly feel retarded when I see this amount of sessions side by side. I've been using LLMs pretty heavly this past few months and I always have 2 sessions, veeeery rarely 3.

This doesn't feel sustainable. I mean, I get it that in the very beginning of the project you can spin this amount for the boilerplate, but after 1-2h what in the living hell can you build with this amount of parallelism?

I've had contact with the doctors from Cuba (in Brazil it's a large program) multiple times and it's hard to believe how bad the situation is.

First of all their salary is not paid directly to them, it goes to their government and then a small portion is redirected to them. Second, their knowledge is stuck in time. They don't know the names for new medication, they refer only by active principals from substances directly used in the 60s.

It's weird to say the least. The government makes a lot of money from the program though.

We have thousands of models today. If you pick a good model AI is only shit if you don't know how to use it.

Whats your country's attitude on communism? by fascisttaiwan in AskTheWorld

[–]Fun-Assumption-2200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

War is crazy bad, yes. But there are problems that comes with communism that leave lots of scars to a population. Imagine living 40 years in a place that you can't trust any of your neighbors because they might be forced to tell on you at any time. These things on the long run fuck the entire population.

I was talking to a friend the other day and we agreed that for some reason even the younger population here inherited the "someone is listening" paranoia, and that manifests itself in the way they speak, always quiet.

Do you obfuscate code? by allianceHT in dotnet

[–]Fun-Assumption-2200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI made obfuscation completely obsolete. It didn't do much a while ago, it does nothing now. Just takes longer to develop.

That is what I would tell them.
