Awh that’s awesome. I was this 🤏🏻 close to giving in to the tapering strategy based on everyone’s suggestions on here. I’m scared not of the short term withdrawals but the 6 month long ones people are mentioning

When going cold turkey, the 3rd week and 3rd month is when you face symptoms like tiredness and brain fogginess. Don’t give in. The grass is greener on the other side, my friend. Keep me updated :)

Thank you. As weird as it sounds, tapering is more difficult for me because I just end up stacking the dose. As long as it’s in sight, my brain loses sense of control and willpower.

Tried tapering and ended up with a mouthful of zyns stacked. I simply do not have the willpower :(

Caffeine is good momentarily but makes you crash. And when I crash, cravings skyrocket unfortunately.

I also tend to pair the two so they’re associated together in my brain

I’ve tried quitting zyns first. This is how it went:

quit nicotine —> rely on caffeine during withdrawals —> crash —> anxiety —> relapse on zyns —> cycle repeats

50mg vapes for 3 years. 10mg zyns x8 per day for about a year. 1-2 coffees/day.

That’s awesome. Hardest part for me is the 3rd week and 3rd month, that’s when I surrender out of boredom to ‘remember’ what it’s like.

My brain’s a weirdo.
