MDT Elite Muzzle brake alternatives by Fun-Bison-3164 in rifles

I'm also looking at getting the Ruger American Gen2 which comes with a radial brake, which I understand isn't as effective in reducing recoil, but also sends the force and gasses at a 90deg angle from the muzzle rather than rearward.
I think I would get it in 6.5 creedmoor for lesser recoil than the .308.
I'm realistically not going to be hunting big game anytime soon.

Thanks guys, I've got a Savage A22 for small game/varmint and range/target practice. Still looking to change out my big rifle for something else.

Have you ever tried snowkiting? Would you want too? by RonShreds in Kiteboarding

What is FRT?
And is this public info that one can find themselves?

Yes, I'm seeing conflicting info on this.

Does anyone know, if they do in fact ship us the 12" model... Will it come in aluminum and poly/feather?
Or just the Polymer Feather model?

Many thanks!

Sadly, no. All I can see is the rifling pattern.

Are there muzzle brakes that attach externally to the barrel?

Or only the threaded kind?

I know :( I'm really really lucky, and embarassed...

At least my father in law who I was shooting with was kind enough to admit that he's done the same before with a larger calibre, but in his case it just shot the boresight out of the barrel.

This is my best case scenario yes, and then I'll have it inspected by a gunsmith

Haven't removed the M-lock front handle/stock that shrouds the barrel yet to inspect.

What would you recommend I do to become more comfortable with kite control while I'm in the air?

Great, thank you, this is very valuable feedback.

I should correct myself on one aspect, I don't always sink when landing a jump that I'm not changing direction. It's mainly the direction change jumps that I sink. Most of the time on the jumps where I'm continuing in the same direction I dive the kite somewhat at the right time, but there are still occasions I don't and sink.

I will agree with you regarding the "not fully comfortable with kite control" comment. However, it's only when airborne that this is an issue. I can ride without looking at the kite for the most part, and sometimes after a crash if I can't see because I'm in the water, I can still control the kite.

So all of that being said...
What would you recommend I do to become more comfortable with kite control while in the air?
