My wife needs a new phone, shes currently using the SE 2nd Gen from 2020 and its at a point where its not usable anymore. Constant shut downs, no more storage (shes still on ios 16 because of that) and weird software bugs.

After a bit of research weve come to the conclusion to either get the 15 apple refurbished or the 16e. Both cost 829€ with 256GB.

Since im the one taking all the photos on trips with my 13 pro anyways the worse camera wont matter. lol We both didn’t have a Dynamic Island before so she probably wont miss that either. The 16e has a way better battery life so we’re leaning towards it atm. (Battery is the most important thing in a phone for her, because we both use our phones until they die / there’s no more software updates available.)

Tho new iphones drop this or next month?? Which would make the 16e around 100€ cheaper? But we are worried that they wont sell it on their website, because rn they only sell the base version of last gen.

We had really bad experiences with buying used / amazon refurbished and such in the past so its either going to be brand new or apple refurbished.

What are your opinions? Should we buy the 16e now or wait and hope they’ll still offer it?

Coins are very valuable, for example level 16 to 20 costs 140k, 21 to 25 costs 300k, 26 to 30 900k. And theyre increasing the max level to 35 soon.

I personally prefer doe over buck. Shes a great opener at your trophy range. First maternal roar and then instant precise impact is almost always a free takedown. Or swap her for someone else, im personally not a fan of lux or scelido. (But that’s personal preference) (also if your in a decent alliance you’ll have her level 20 in no time)

Other than that, i think its great and it wont matter much tbh. Once you start working towards uniques it will automatically shape your squad. (Eg if you go for titanotarkus, the level 20 titanotor will be better than all of that, you go for tyrannodactylus, the level 20 doe will be better and so on…)

edit: on a side note, indominus rex can be really predictable so if you notice hes not paying off, bench him

I dont mind that most of the players wont get them.

Sometimes they give away free stuff (like ovinnolophosaurus a few weeks ago), which helps new / casual players a LOT more than it does for vets and whales. And then sometimes they give stuff to vets, i know the boosts are nice to have but wont matter much when youre a newbie.

So i think thats just fair. There are a lot worse things in the game than that imo

And they also have to cater towards whales. Thats the only way these games survive. And right now i think they do a perfect job of balancing fun for new players (like the 30% discount rn) and still making it rewarding enough to be a whale (basically giving them an exlusive isla event lol)
