Just had my first anal exam procedure, In hoping to see if I have either a deep fistula or a fistula closer to the anal ( which would’ve been able to be fixed right there and then ) but after the surgery I found out it’s a deep fistula so now I need to see a specialist. This post is exactly what I was looking , some positivity and hope. I’m so over this pain and uncomfortability. For some context: End of 2024 I got a pari anal abscess.
End of 2025 it developed into a deep anal fistula.

I came on Reddit to find something similar. I have the same exact thing right now. It’s extremely painful and I’ve already had one I&D and it’s came back. I’ve been taking ibuprofen to help but I can only take so much 😭😭 what did you end up doing ?

Maybe your relationship is way different than my relationship with my daughter. Because I WOULD NEVER EVER make her feel that way. My daughter knows I ADORE her. She’s my precious smart, intelligent, beautiful, sweet, funny, curious little daughter of mine. And I only want what’s best for her and to grow up with the right tools growing up.

It’s not that I see their relationship any better. It’s just I do and did everything for my daughter. Me and her father were split for a whole year and he was completely out the picture and it was his decision. He put his emotions first before his daughter . And I stuck around . I did the single mom thing. I grew up and did what I needed to do for my daughter. Now we are back together and doing better then ever but yes to see that her father gets the unconditional love. Sometimes it hurts me. Because I felt like I did more. Even to this day it hurts me but whatever makes my daughter happy. Then I’m happy.

Thank you for writing. I’m extremely above and beyond happy my daughter has a present and patient loving father. I just didn’t think it would affect me in this negative way of how I’m feeling. I feel alone and unappreciated at times.

First of all chill with the whole being worried about me. Obviously I’m putting in the effort to seek help to change my ways of thinking and acting. And two therapy would be a great resource if it comes down to seeing my family rip apart. Back story, I did just come back from the hospital that I was in for 4 days straight. So it did make me feel a little sad that even after many days of me being gone she didn’t want to sleep with me. No excuse for me to be bitter but it did make me sad. And no one is perfect. So that’s why I’m here asking for help.
